Product Review & Giveaway: Miss Body Butter

Picture1When Paulin Soleyman, founder extraordinaire, of Miss Body Butter reached out to me asking if I’d be interested in trying some of her handmade, organic products I jumped at the chance. Organic moisturizer that has been said to help people with psoriasis, HELL YEAH!

When I got home from Zumba last Monday night, the box was waiting for me in the lobby like an early Christmas present. I ripped it open as soon as I got upstairs to discover the beautiful packaging with the sexy (yet classy) logo which I absolutely adore. The package also came with two small black spatula’s for application, but in all honesty I was too clumsy to use them and opted for my hands.

I used the Tropical Oasis Sugar Scrub first and as soon as I opened it, I thought “Yay, it smells like vacation and it’s amazing!” I worry sometimes about scrubs being too harsh on my psoriasis spots but this one was gentle and I definitely felt exfoliated. Even after rinsing and drying off I was left feeling moisturized and smooth.

Next, I tried the A Taste of Paradise Body Butter. Rookie mistake though, I used too much and was left feeling greasy. I’m used to needing to layer on the moisturizer to feel good coverage, which is absolutely not necessary with the body butter. The next morning after my shower, I used a more conservative amount and a little really does go a long way. I felt moisturized and comfortable all day. My spots are feeling the love too, they’re not as scaly or red and itchy since I began using Miss Body Butter’s products. My overall experience with the brand and products has been fabulous!
