Vacation in Paradise

Being ON vacation is NOT stressful

Going on vacation is stressful. Coming back to work after vacation is even more stressful. I’m just about caught up from the 700+ emails I got in the 6 days I was away (only 4 business days – one being a summer Friday)!

Right before we left for Turks & Caicos, work blow up, I stressed out and then I flared up. But only a few days in that gorgeous ocean water and the sun was necessary to clear me up. I did lose some pigment and replaced some of the red spots with white spots, but its hard to focus on anything negative when you’re in paradise with your favorite person.

We spent our days talking and laying on the incredible beach, Zumba-ing next to the ocean (ok that was just me), kayaking and sailing. Mike is a natural sailor and I can see the love in his eyes when he’s got the boat on the water. I’m going to need to win the lottery so I can support his new love. At night we drank and ate too much, danced and laughed like crazy. Such an amazing, fun, easy trip. A huge thanks to Jamie for organizing the whole thing! If you ever need a travel agent, check her out, she’s amazing!!  – www.awaywithmetravel.com.

Sailing in Paradise

Though I hate to admit it, but I was a bit self-conscious when we first arrived and I was spotty. My greatest hope is that one day those feelings will completely go away. But as I mentioned before, it’s hard to feel negative in such an amazing place so those feelings quickly went away.

Now it’s back to reality and back to work. Summer is flying by so I hope you’re all taking advantage of it and having a blast!
